This museum, long recognized as Montana’s premier venue for regional contemporary art decided, after serious consideration, to remain and expand their 80-year old transformed warehouse.  In collaboration with Bryan Burke, AIA, our firm combined new and existing spaces to provide the needed expansion.  The project includes two art studios with day lighting and stained radiant-heat concrete slab that will acquire a wonderful patina with its use by artists.  The studios provide immediate access to the galleries, enhancing the educational experience.  The new signature "High Gallery" with its 20-foot ceilings and 1600 sq.ft. provides exhibition space for larger and more varied exhibits.
